Multiculturalism, The Jewel in the Crown

Are we to dismantle the Crown Jewels; 
return the diamonds back to Johannesburg 
and the magnificent ruby to old Bombay? 
Are we to smelt the silver and mint new 
coins to dish out to those most worthy? 
To right all the wrongs from our ugly past.

To recognize the damage caused by uncontrollable 

desires to conquer. An Empire based on violence, 

civilizing the world of its innocence. Obedience 
and loyalty found at the end of a barrel of a gun. 

Causing genocide with brutal inhumane slavery 
and wiping the slate clean of all responsibilities of 
abuses and murderous intent in the gaining of control 
over the peaceful then claiming to be “Saviours”. 

If we are to keep our Crown, the Kingdom must fully 
comprehend what makes those priceless international 
jewels sparkle. To understand what emulates inside to 
create that glorious ray of shining light, otherwise 
its importance is but a trinket like any other, 
precious yet easily replaced.
