Under A Blood Red Sky

You know, it’s easy to think blah blah, blah. And when we view the future in this way, with optimum vision, we can see that those at the top are blah blah, blah.

Blah blah, blah elitism is the new racism, a chance for groups of hater to have their fill of excluding others via their alumni. When I was at U-knee, I blah blah, blah blah with wots-his­-face and Duchess Whojam-aflip and how we laughed at the ill-educated blah blah, blah. In those days drugs were commonplace, and it was quite rude not-to and so inevitably, some of us naughty radical few would often blah blah, blah.

Muslims…blah blah, blah, terrorism is so generously misunderstood, it is because of blah blah, blah, don’t you think? Blah blah, blah, letting them all in, open borders policy, I would suggest we blah blah, blah. Suicide-bombers are on the rise and blah blah, blah soon to be taught in major prep schools around urban areas blah blah, blah. It seems rather rational under the circumstances, who is to blah blah, blah. Blah blah, blah time to flee; our fight is over, clearly we are sinking, have you ever considered blah blah, blah. Police State, shoot to kill marksmen are praised. Never mind our neighbours, we need to protect and secure our blah blah, blah.

Blah blah, blah and that is what is going to happen if only we could blah blah, blah. Taxpayers picking up the blah blah, blah. Blah blah, blah taking our jobs, our women and eating our babies blah blah, blah. Stop the frackers! Can’t stand the Frogs, the Japs, the Krauts, the Wogs and the Whoopsie-daisies. Those nasty Near Eastern Freedom Fighters with their Mega-IS-ISIS-ISIT?-Terror-Attacks. Blah blah, blah. Coming over here and sticking their fingers up at the blah blah, blah with their lack of dress sense and women with five o’clock shadows blah blah, blah. Blah blah, blah send them home, back to France, Germany, Japan, America and Sunderland. Blah blah, blah.

Well of course, we must understand that this will change the course at Ascot. Ladies Day enjoyed by Essex trollops and all those Lady blah blah, blah. Outsmarted by handheld telephones blah blah, blah. Well I say it is about time we blah blah, blah. Ban the fox and keep the hunt blah blah, blah. That would do the world a favour if only blah blah, blah. Alternatively we could see the whole world change in a fabulous direction, a pirouette or star-jumps with Jazz hands and plenty of blah blah, blah. If so blah blah, blah and eventually we would simply blah blah, blah.

Brexit has been so cleverly twisted, engineered so to speak blah blah, blah. You know what is really behind it is blah blah, blah and my financial portfolio has never looked so strong; they have just registered a world wide patent for wheat seed blah blah, blah China blah blah, blah. Water is the new Black and buy more Coke Stock, is the word on the street. You know Trump has always been so very blah blah, blah and for those very specific reasons I want to blah blah, blah if so, we could collectively blah blah, blah together in defiant unity and if not, that would serve us right!

Is Art more pornography these days? The lines have become so blurred. Back in the days of Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele in Vienna a Century ago, an artist could be sentenced to prison for such imagery and Egon certainly spent some time being banged up.

AFRICA IS PLEASING HERSELF

The aim here is to achieve nothing more than to express physical beauty and the empowerment that pleasure can bring to an otherwise downtrodden existence. The works expressed here are not necessarily to do anything other than to change the skin colour and emphasis that the black, or brown skin is beautiful. The laying of sketches created by Egon and Gustav are to represent that change in our global perspective. The acceptance of African Beauty has now almost been taken for granted, no longer are black men and women seen as something exotic but more mainstream, more every day. Our attitudes towards Africa, people of colour, race and sexual orientation have changed dramatically over the past 100 years and so they should but in some quarters things have stayed the same.

We are living is such exciting times. The world is changing and adapting to new found attitudes to race, religion, sex, global politics and we are beginning to have an overwhelming feeling of being ignored. That sense of being utterly powerless against the State and the omnipresent Machine. To demonstrate against our Leaders yet never heard only beaten by seemly invisible untouchable groups of bullies. It seems it is not enough to shock people anymore, you have to openly express your position through your nothingness, your naked self. Women are our strength, their sexuality breathtaking and the power to bring us all into this world. They are not to be feared or hated but more admired, seen for all their majestic glory. All women are beautiful once they have been spoken to with respect and honour. You can see the change in their eyes, how they shine so brightly when regarded as beautiful. Our decency comes from our women. See how they take strong stands for their men, their women and their children. Never come between a Moma Bear to her cubs she will rip you to shreds. This basic instinct is all we have left in our World where we are considered so expendable, replaceable and more as just a number than a name.

The population some countries have is staggering, frightening, the numbers are so vast and casualties so staggering it is beyond human comprehension. Those in power are utterly ruthless, they see people as numbers and statistics. Feasibility studies to make 95% happy at the expense of the 5% is acceptable but when the numbers go into the billions that 5% becomes a noticeable mass of people. Power has increased by 1000% since my birth and mentality around the world has become unhuman, no longer are we seen as human beings but more numbers on pie-charts, we have become invisible, we have been reduced to next to nothing. Art can make us been seen, make us visible if we just know how to use it. Art is Power. It is the light so desperately needed in our otherwise darkest days. I present to you my Art as an awaking of the spirit that lies deep inside you all. See for yourselves how beautiful you can be. Liberate yourselves from that ugliness that stares you in the face. We see our beauty lies inside us as much as it is skin deep. The power of nudity is shocking to some but to those that are shocked hurdle your fears and see your naked self as wild, animalistic and free.

The African Brain vs The Colonial Brain

The African Brain vs The Colonial Brain

The Brain is a complex organ but it can be broken down into three aspects known as the Triune Brain Theory developed by Paul MacLean in the late 1970’s - The Neocortex, The Reptilian, The Limbic and so the human brain breaks-down into two very distinct types of brain – The African Brian vs The Colonial Brain.

The African Brain is more developed you see, it is more evolved that the Colonial Brain - The neocortex first assumed importance in primates and culminated in the human brain with its two large cerebral hemispheres that play such a dominant role. These hemispheres have been responsible for the development of human language, abstract thought, imagination, and consciousness. The neocortex is flexible and has almost infinite learning abilities. The neocortex is also what has enabled human cultures to develop.

THE COLONIAL BRAIN

The Colonial Brain is more aggressive, basic in it's thought process. It works on a mechanism of greed and callousness. It uses more of the reptilian part of the brain - The reptilian brain, the oldest of the three, controls the body's vital functions such as heart rate, breathing, body temperature and balance. Our reptilian brain includes the main structures found in a reptile's brain: the brainstem and the cerebellum. The reptilian brain is reliable but tends to be somewhat rigid and compulsive. Having too much of the reptilian part of the brain equates to certain human characteristics. Although driven and ambitious statistics record that the Colonial Brain is 100% more likely to gain pleasure out of the misery of others and has a leaning towards being bullies, rapists, child molesters and or paedophiles. They tend to lack any compassion or empathy for others.

THE AFRICAN BRIAN

The cognitive functions of the African and the Colonial Brain differs wildly and the Colonial Brain is larger in size to accommodate the reptilian natural aggressive need to expand, creating less space for the limbic aspect of the brain and therefore is prone to being forgetful. The limbic brain emerged in the first mammals. It can record memories of behaviours that produced agreeable and disagreeable experiences, so it is responsible for what are called emotions in human beings. The main structures of the limbic brain are the hippocampus, the amygdala, and the hypothalamus. The limbic brain is the seat of the value judgments that we make, often unconsciously, that exert such a strong influence on our behaviour. Although the African Brain is smaller in size it is more evolved than the Colonial Brain as it has a large neocortex aspect, for creative thought with a medium sized Limbic aspect, for care and compassion and, a far smaller reptilian aspect for predatory aggression, making it a culturally driven, compassionately led, perfectly shaped and sized brain.
